Bolt-on passenger side swing-out tire carrier that is compatible with the 2010-2024 4runner platform. This carrier allows you to carry up to a 35″ tire without adding unnecessary weight and keeping the OEM bumper. An expandable secondary accessory arm option allows a second arm to be added at a later time to carry a variety of accessories. This system has undergone several years of testing and development and multiple iterations to provide a made-in-the-USA, rugged, sleek, and serviceable carrier that will last.

 

Key Points:

• 100 percent bolt-on; no welding or modifications to the frame are required. (trimming of OEM plastic bumper skin is required)

 

• No Removal, interference, or modification of the factory hitch

 

• CNC laser/plasma cut from USA mild P&O steel.

 

• Arms are made with 2×3-inch structual tubing.

 

• Duel shear, double taper bearing hinge design that utilizes a readily available trailer axle bearing, grease fitting, grease seals, 1/2 inch thick lower shear, and a 1-inch diameter bolt

 

• Hinges are mounted by 3×3 square tube and 8x 5/8″, 2x 1/2″ bolts (enough to support the weight of the vehicle using a Hi-Lift. NOT recommended)

 

• Single or Double arm configurations.

 

• Modular Design allows the user to add a second arm at a later time.

 

• South Co compression latches that prevent the arms from rattling. Also allows for one-hand actuation of each arm

 

• Does not interfere with or touch the OEM hitch to retain towing capacity.

 

• 1-inch diameter hinge bolts for maximum strength

Swingouts ship bare metal and will need to be painted or powder coated. We are not offering either at this time.

BSM relocation is required for 2021+ models with Blind Spot Monitor.

 

The accessory arm is not designed to carry a tire.
