Dobinsons Twin Tube Nitrogen Gas charged shock absorbers are made from the world’s highest quality external and internal parts sourced worldwide. They provide a significant increase in performance over the standard shock absorbers. Dobinsons twin tube shock absorbers feature larger bodies, larger bores and increased valving performance to dramatically improve vehicle handling and control and reduces shock fade.

All Dobinsons coil springs are load tested and scragged 100% to eliminate subsequent spring sag. We also perform spring fatigue and hardness testing using in-house state of the art testing equipment.

Rear Long Travel Add On Option (NON KDSS ONLY)
Rear Long Travel is available for an additional cost. This kit will provide an additional approx. 5″ of down travel in the rear. It is especially useful in off-camber situations, to help keep all 4 wheels planted on the ground.
This add on includes:
Variable Rate Long Travel Coils – (Available in 3″ Stock/ Comfort, Medium, & Heavy Loads) Therefore it is not possible to create a leveled look lift with long travel.
Long Travel Dobinsons Rear Shocks – These are a firmer shock, They will provide a nice ride, but will be firmer than stock.

Bump Stop Drop Kit
The Factory rake on All Non PRO models is 2″, The rake on the pro Models is 1″. This means that in order to level the truck you must lift the front more than you lift the rear. For example if you want to level an SR5 with a 3″ lift, you would lift the rear 1″. Generally we do not recommend fully leveling the rear, as the reason Toyota created the Raked stance was so that you have some weight capacity in the trunk. By fully Leveling the rear you lose your trunk capacity.
If you require Medium or Heavy springs- You must select at least a 2″ rear
Comfort- Stock Load
Medium- 80-150lbs (Hybrid bumper with or without a winch)
Heavy- 200+ (full bumper and winch and/or skids)
Comfort- Stock Load
Medium 2″ – 2-400lbs, 3″ 2-300lbs
Heavy 2″ 6-800lbs – 3″ 400+ Lbs.
In the event that you purchase springs rated at a higher load capacity than you have on the truck, you will both lift more and have a firmer ride.
Upper Control Arms (UCAs) are required at lift heights of 2.5″ and above, though should be installed with 2″ to insure proper alignment.
