The first product out of the Apache Experimental Meat Processing Unit, these 4×4 sliders are a complete bolt on unit that includes all the mounting hardware needed, including the same aviation-grade fasteners used in Lockheed Martin’s PorkWings.
Each Bacon Slider is a combination of a hand-assembled DOM tubing frame bonded with a full-length slab of the chunkiest, mouth-watering bacon you’ve ever seen.
The bacon is sourced from feral hogs wild-harvested exclusively by the Sweetwater Junior Bow Hunters. These free-range monster hogs pack a leaner, darker meat with chunky striations of impact-absorbing fat that can stand up to the most challenging trail conditions.
Apache selects only the best hogs that meet our exacting standards for length, rind depth and fat marbling.
Once selected, each enormous slab of pork belly is hand rubbed with our Apache Offroad high performance dry cure mix and left to cure for two weeks under temperature-controlled conditions before being smoked over your choice of hickory, maple or cherrywood.
The result is hands-down the best looking, best performing, best smelling sliders on the market.
As these are hand made products, please allow 2-12 weeks for assembly and meat processing.
